1. INTRODUCTORY PROVISIONS
These terms and conditions govern the relationship between the Union of Czech and Slovak Students Abroad (hereinafter referred to as the “Union”) and visitors or registered members (hereinafter referred to as the “User”). By creating a user account and each time you log in to the website, the User confirms that he or she has read and agrees to these terms and conditions.

2. PURPOSE OF THE WEBSITE AND MEMBER AREA

The website serves to connect the Czech-Slovak student community abroad. It provides registered Users (members) with access to expanded content, a network of contacts, event registration, and other features that are not available to unregistered visitors.

3. REGISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT OF USER ACCOUNT

Data accuracy: When registering, the User is obliged to provide correct and complete data. The Union reserves the right to verify the status of a student abroad (e.g. by sending a confirmation of study), if this is a condition for obtaining full membership. Account security: Login data is non-transferable. The User is obliged to protect his/her password. The User is responsible for all activities performed under the logged in account. Account termination: The User may request the cancellation of his/her account at any time. The Union reserves the right to block or delete the account in case of violation of these terms and conditions, in particular in case of inappropriate behavior in the member zone.

4. RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS WITHIN THE COMMUNITY

Content Sharing: Registered Users who add content (blogs, comments, forum posts) bear full legal responsibility for this content. It is prohibited to spread hate speech, discrimination, illegal content or unauthorized advertising. License: By adding content, the User grants the Union free consent to publish it for the purpose of fulfilling the goals of the association. Protection of member privacy: Registered users undertake to respect the privacy of other members and not to misuse the contact details obtained through the website for commercial purposes.

5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Informational nature: Information shared in the member zone (e.g. advice on visas, accommodation or grants) is of an informative nature and does not replace official legal or official advice. The Union is not liable for any damages arising from this information. Availability: The Union does not guarantee 100% continuous availability of the login system (e.g. due to server maintenance).

6. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA (GDPR)

In connection with registration and login, the Union processes the User's personal data (e.g. name, email, university). Detailed information about the processing, your rights and how we protect your data is provided in the Privacy Policy document, which is an integral part of the registration process.

7. FINAL PROVISIONS

The Union reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Registered Users will be informed of important changes by email or message after logging in. Legal relations not regulated by these terms and conditions shall be governed by the law of the place of the Union's registered office.
